As a former web design, hosting, and internet marketing company owner, I know the value of creating a gorgeous product photo to help customers see the value in what I am offering. I use Photoshop to create the graphics for my products, such as 180+ Days of Quickwrites and Social Justice Writing Project. I design them like a notebook or binder (which technically a customer could create by downloading the PDF or PPT files and printing them), but all my files are delivered digitally.
This keeps my overhead low so I don't have to charge textbook prices. Selling digital products also frees up my time that would otherwise be spent shipping physical books. I wouldn't be able to teach and run my business if it were based on selling physical products. Even better, you get to download your files immediately instead of having to wait for someone to ship them to you. (I, for one, am like a kid before Christmas in the two to three days it takes my physical orders to arrive at home or school!)
