Highlights From Today’s Oklahoma SDE Meeting

The Oklahoma State Department of Education discussed plans to create executive committees and advisory boards to participate in the process of creating new state standards for English/Language Arts and Math, to replace the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) struck down with the recent passage of HB 3399. The State Board of Education also unanimously approved the non-renewal of the state’s contract with CTB/McGraw Hill.
